RULES OF THE COMPETITION
INTRODUCTION
Science and suggestion: an experience in common is a non-profit making project aimed at those people who have an interest in science and its communication to the public. This initiative aspires not only to be a space for the popularisation of science but also for a reflection on science itself and how it is perceived by society.
Science and suggestion: an experience in common is a natural consequence and prolongation of Science and suggestion: an artistic experience, which presented a basic part of the work of scientists, in material's science, through its interpretation by plastic artists and poets.
The idea behind this new competition is to make available to EVERYONE an Internet page with both images of scientific interest as well as the suggestions that these may provoke, in order to promote the interaction between science and society. To give more space to your interests, we will increase the number of themes to include all the fields of knowledge as well as the formats for every type of artistic expression and reflection.
The contributions of scientific images and their suggestions will be placed on these Internet pages. At the same time prizes will be awarded to the best science and suggestion creations. These will be judged by a jury of prestigious specialists, and another prize may be selected by the public. The jury will also make a selection of the most interesting science and suggestion creations, which may then be adapted to form part of a travelling exhibition, together with the prize winners. The creations that are selected and awarded prizes will have a prominent place on the web page.
PARTICIPANTS
Researchers from all fields of knowledge, creative people from all disciplines; professionals and amateurs, adults and children, from any country in the world
